Quelle: Haze's 07/21/2010 Conversation Regarding FF's Future!
Zitat
Haze: Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy & hectic schedule to return my phone call regarding FF's demise or perhaps rejuvenation.
I am exceedingly grateful at your generosity. Is there anything the Fans can do to save our show?
ABC VIP: You are quite welcome. I am ONLY doing this as a favor due to our business relationship [with Employer's Name and an Employee's Name].
We have or should I say [had] no intentions on bringing the series back. Once something is cancelled, those decisions are almost 100% not reversed.
Haze: I understand, but I want to be able to tell the Fans on my FB page . . . (interrupts!).
ABC VIP: You barely have 2,000 Fans, whereas, other pages have thousands more.
Haze: (Evasive Grin) Quality over quantity! (Giving them the explanation of our page: We are a family page & Folks have to abide by our
"No Cursing; No Spoilers" policy out of respect for the young Fans & our faithful UK Fans).
ABC VIP: (Laughs). I have read your page. This is the exact opposite of my stance. The numbers just weren't there.
Yet, the Fans lingered & would not move on quietly.
Haze: With all due respect, the numbers were there until that three-month hiatus.
ABC VIP: Not true. The numbers started dwindling after the first three-episodes. And you being in the position you are in know about those factors.
Haze: Yes; my apologies. I was referring to the Nielsen ratings.
ABC VIP: Let's just get down to the thick of things, Haze. We have six very solid & promising Networks interested in moving forward with FF. Ours included.
Haze: Six? Really? May I ask which are interested? Should we be inundating them the way we have ABC? Are they American Networks or United Kingdom ones?
ABC VIP: American. In all honestly, you already are! We are in deep negotiations at the moment and I admit if it weren't for you all &
the constant harassment that has enlightened us that maybe, just maybe we have made a mistake. This is something I do not say often.
Yes, please, continue to write & call the Networks. "An announcement is coming once the deal has been finalized. If either does not go through with budget factors,
I promise to let you know; ONLY as a favor."
Haze: So, I just want to be clear: We should continue to send letters, e-mails, paraphernalia, etc., to ABC as well? What about the GBO's that we are staging?
ABC VIP: That is what really tipped the ice. From a marketing standpoint, it was brilliant.
Haze: Is there anything solid I can tell the Fans on my page? It's actually not my page, but I am the Admin whom pretty much delivers messages.
ABC VIP: Please tell the fans to continue to fight and for those who have been leaving the unprofessional messages, they are recorded & not deleted.
Haze: I can assure you that those are not coming from the Fans on our page. They are respectful.
ABC VIP: I trust that they are not.
Haze: Well, I thank you once again. I have one last question. Should any of the negotiations fall through, will there be a movie to know whether or not Mark lives?
One final question - what about the actors whom are committed to other engagements?
ABC VIP: That is merely a microcosm of what we are trying to accomplish in bringing the series back. There are no plans to make a movie now or ever.
Haze: May I please have your approval to submit this interview on my FLASH FORWARD page this evening when I leave the office?
ABC VIP: Yes, you may & don't disclose too much. Have a great evening, Haze.
End of discussion.
